About
Tatyana Polyak started ARTS-NY site to share her passion for the arts. She is a strong believer in enriching one’s life by exploring various forms of artistic expression. Art does not exist without the audience. Consuming art lets one be part of the art itself. This idea is informed by Eric Kandel’s beholder’s share theory that is masterly covered in his book, The Age of Insight: The Quest to Understand the Unconscious in Art, Mind, and Brain. Tatyana’s work is inspired by this deep insight.
Tatyana graduated from NYU Stern Business school and studied Art Management and Content Strategy. She closely follows the New York cultural scene with particular interest in piano recitals, theater, guitar jazz, and art exhibitions from old masters to impressionists to avant-garde and post-modernists. Tatyana is Art Gallery Director at Mamaroneck Artists Guild, one of the oldest New York artists’ cooperative located in Larchmont, NY.
Tatyana’s site ARTS-NY offers a carefully curated slice of NYC’s cultural scene to satisfy visitors’ aesthetic curiosities!
